PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording head which has the extremely high reliability in constitution, maintenance and noise resistance by enhancing and obtaining long-term bonding force between an ink chamber body and a nozzle plate, by surely removing an ink and dust from a nozzle face after cleaning and by surely discharging static electricity from the vicinity of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle plate 2 is bonded to an ink chamber body 1 and a protection plate 3, that has a hole 31 opening the vicinity of the nozzle 21, is laminated thereon from the side of ink ejection. An outer verge part 71 of a head case 7 that holds the ink chamber body 1 is extended from the face of the protection plate 3 in the direction of the ink ejection to surround the edge of the protection plate 3. Both of the protection plate 3 and head case 7 are made of metal material. The extended part 33 of the protection plate 3 presses the bottom surface of the notch part 73 of the head case 7. |
