PURPOSE:To prevent the title material from infiltrating a plasticizer such as DOA or DOP various oils and fats into the same, by a method wherein the inside of a pretective layer is made to contain a copolymer comprising acrylic amide, acrylic ester and polyvinyl alcohol into the protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A substrate is made into a heat-sensitive recording material by providing a heat-sensitive color development layer on the substrate and a protective layer on the color development layer and/or the rear of the substrate. On this occasion, a copolymer comprised of acrylic amide, acrylic acid polyester and polyvinyl alcohol is contained into the protective layer. Since the inside of the protective layer on the heat-sensitive color development layer and/or the inside of the protective layer on the rear of the substrate are made to contain a copolymer, infiltration of a plasticizer such as DOA or DOP or various oils and fats is prevented, water resistance is improved and achromation of an image or color development of a texture part can be controlled. |
