PURPOSE:To accurately know the dressing time of the edge of a blade. CONSTITUTION:The load current value of a mian shaft motor M rotating a blade 1 around its axial line O is guided to a dressing control part 3. The difference between the reference load current value set corresponding to the blade l and a load current value measured during cutting is successively calculated in the dressing control part 3. When the cutting resistance acting on the blade 1 increases, the load current value of the main shaft motor M also increases and, therefore, by monitoring a change in the difference with the reference load current value, the time when dressing should be done can be judged. |
