发明名称 DEVICE FOR DETECTING DIRECTIONAL SURGE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously and independenly detect the common mode surge current and the normal mode surge current by disposing magnetic cores in such a way as to surround receiving lines, and winding two coils around each magnetic core, and connecting the two coils to each other in such a way that magnetism inducing currents caused by the surge currents are superimposed on each other. CONSTITUTION:An E-shaped ferrite core 12 and an I-shaped ferrite core 13 are disposed in such a way as to surround a pair of receiving circuits 11a, 11b. Pairs of coils 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b are symmetrically wound onto the respective projecting sides 15a, 15b of the E-shaped ferrite core 12. The coils 16a, 16b are connected to each other in such a manner that magnetism inducing currents urged to flow through receiving lines by the normal mode surge are superimposed on each other and the coils 17a, 17b are connected to each other in such a manner that magnetism inducing currents caused by the common mode surge are superimposed on each other. The currents of the output ends of the coils 17, 16 are measured so that the normal mode surge current between each receiving line and the gronding and the common mode surge current between the receiving lines can be detected simultaneously and independently.</p>
