PURPOSE:To aim at a reduction in the handling time of a ship, by storing the coal carried in by a conveying device in a coal yard, while controlling the date and hour of departure from the base of a freight train to a coal shipping base which delivers coal to its consumer destination by ship. CONSTITUTION:When a load material is coal by way of example, he coal is directly conveyed to a ship A from a coal acceptance installation 11, while a freight train is temporarily made to stay in a sidetrack 19. In addition, an input device 21 inputs the scheduled date of arrival in the ship A, a demanded description and the amount demanded while a control device 20 sets the date and hour of coal shipment of the train so as to cause at least the date of coal loading on the ship A to accord with the scheduled date of arrival of the ship A. With this constitution, direct delivery can be carried out at high frequency without setting up a vast sidetrack. Therefore, demurrage time is shortened so that such an effect that a coal handling quantity at a coal shipping port is much increased and, what is more, one more good effect that a penalty due to demurrage is no longer subjected is thus securable. |
