STERILELY PACKAGING METHOD FOR BOILED RICE

PURPOSE:To obtain boiled rice retaining the water content and soft bulkiness during its boiling by packing a flexible pack with boiled rice after boiled at a highest possible temperature followed by deaeration and then encapsulating an inert gas into the pack and by sealing in a pressurized state. CONSTITUTION:A conditioning machine 2 is first fed with boiled rice 1 after boiled, and a specified amount of the rice is weighed in a clean room (<= class 1000) and packed into a flexible pack 4 at temperatures as high as possible (60-100 deg.C). The pack is then deaerated in a deaeration-N2 encapsulation zone 6 prior to sealing and encapsulated with N2 or anther inert gas, and then sealed in a sealing zone 7 in a pressurized state.
