<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sidecar type motor tricycle wherein a center of gravity is lowered by specifying the disposing position of a constituting device and side wheel load distribution is improved. CONSTITUTION:A body frame 1 is provided with a front wheel 2, a rear wheel 3, and a side wheel 4 located in the vicinity of an intermediate position between the front and rear wheels 2 and 3. Main and auxiliary seats 5a and 5b are caused to span the body frame 1 in a state that the seats are laterally arranged and a center of gravity is lowered. A prime mover 6 is mounted on the side of the rear wheel 3 and between the side wheel 4 and the rear wheel and outside a line for intercoupling the ground touching points of the two wheels, a fuel tank 6a is below the floor of the auxiliary seat 5b, and a radiator 6b on the front side of the auxiliary seat 5b. The front wheel 2 is coupled to a handle 2b through a steering link 2a. The rear wheel 3 is coupled to the prime mover 6 through a transmission mechanism 3a. The side wheel 4 is provided with a deflecting device 7 capable of changing a toe.</p> |
