PURPOSE:To sustain a deodorizing effect without impairing design characteristics by weaving piles contg. deodorant fibers having colorless or pale color metallic ions on a base fabric contg. the deodorant fibers having a chromatic metallic phthalocyanine deriv., thereby freely coloring the piles. CONSTITUTION:The base fabric 1 which is a nonwoven fabric is formed of the blue deodorant fibers A5 sticking to rayon fibers. The piles 2 contg. the colorless deodorant fibers B6 formed by bonding zinc ions with the rayon fibers are woven into the base fabric 1. Further, a latex layer 3 for maintaining the tensile strength of the carpet for preventing the pull off of the piles 2 is provided and this latex layer 3 is lined by a lining cloth 4. As a result, the piles 2 are freely colored and the design characteristics are not impaired. The product which restores the deodoration performance in spite of cleaning is thus produced. |
