PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition capable of exhibiting a state of a low-viscosity liquid at ordinary temperature, excellent in curing characteristics and providing cured products excellent in heat resistance and mechanical properties by incompletely aminomethylating bisphenol F with aldehydes and an ammonium salt and further epoxidizing the resultant compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by incompletely aminomethylating bisphenol F with aldehydes (e.g. formaldehyde or hydroxybenzaldehyde) and an ammonium salt (e.g. ammonium chloride) and then epoxidizing the resultant compound. This composition consists essentially of compounds expressed by formulas I and II. |
