<p>PURPOSE:To prevent soil on a contact shoe and an insulator and creeping discharge caused by it by covering the contact and the insulator at least on the upstream side of the air current direction with a cover installed in an element housing frame. CONSTITUTION:An element housing frame 3 is put in and out by opening and closing a lid 5 of a casing. Here a cover 6 for covering a contact shoe 4a and an insulator 4b on the upstream side of the air current direction is installed in an element housing frame 3 housed in an electrical precipitation element 2. And a cover operating part 7 for moving the cover 6 to a set position where the contact 4a and the insulator 4b are covered and to a retracting position where the electrical precipitation element 2 is allowed to be put in and out from the element housing frame 3 is provided. Thereby soil on the contact 4a and the insulator 4b and creeping discharge generated are prevented. And since the cover 6 is automatically moved by opening and closing the lid 5, good workability of maintenance is obtained.</p> |
