PURPOSE:To form a sufficient air layer by slightly pulling back an internal packaging band right before the upstream side of an external film band is closed, for a packaging method for which an internal packaging body is packaged by an external packaging film, and air is encapsulated between the internal packaging web band and the external packaging film band at the time of sealing. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be packaged P is inserted between a pair of, top and bottom, internal packaging webs W, a vertical sealing means 13 and a lateral sealing means 14 are operated to seal the internal packaging webs W, in which the object to be packaged P is stored, and at the same time, the internal packaging webs W and an external packaging film band F, which are pinched by a pinching means 48, are carried by a specified dimension. Also, power is connected to a heating wire which is provided on an external packaging vertical sealing means 44, and at the same time, the valve of a low pressure air source is opened, and low pressure air is blown in the external packaging band F through a pipe 54. Then, only the external packaging film band F is pinched by closing a holding member 45, and under this condition, the internal packaging webs W are pulled back by driving the carrying- driving means slightly in the opposite direction, and the encapsulated air quantity in the external packaging film band F is sufficiently ensured. |
