<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device which automatically opens and closes an openable part, such as a filler lid, mounted on the side part of a car body, in an assembly shop for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A part opening and closing device comprises a slide base 18 rotatably mounted on a slidably supported slide unit 9 through a rotary cylinder 13, a slide body 19 movably mounted on the slide base 18, a vacuum shaft 35 horizontally rotatably supported to the slide body 19, and a sucking pad 36 supported to the vacuum shaft 35. This constitution performs free movement in a horizontal direction and rotation of a vacuum shaft 35 on which the sucking pad 36 is mounted, whereby opening and closing of the sucking pad 36 are freely performed through control of the feed and discharge of a vacuum to and from the sucking pad 36 and the position and the direction of the sucking pad 36.</p> |
