CONSTITUTION:An annular drum 1 is intermittently rotated and capsules 2 are successively contained into holes 3 through a capsule supply pipe 4; at the same time, the excessive length and excessive shortage of the capsules are measured by photoelectric switches 17, 18 and defective capsules are detected. The dents at both ends R of the capsules are detected by the photoelectric switches. The defective capsules are blown into a case 22 by the air blown off through a nozzle 21 and the non-defective capsules are discharged through a discharge pipe 23. The capsules having the crushed body parts are expelled into a case 27.
