LOW-NOISE PNEUMATIC TIRE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To minimize the amount of a sound energy generated at a tread by constituting a groove regulating the shape of a tread block element so that clearances of either a front edge or a rear edge is almost balanced and by locating a groove corresponding to a groove in each design cycle in a row of a different circumferential row of the tread block element. CONSTITUTION:A groove of a tread is strategically arranged so that an amount of groove clearance (clearance attributing to the groove) at a front edge of a tire tread is almost the same around the tire, and the total of the groove clearances along a projection 86 (A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H+I) is almost the same as the total of the groove clearances along a projection 88 (J+K+L+M +N+O+P+Q+R+S). Each of the grooves starts at one of the projections of the front and rear edges as if the clearances of either one of the front edge or the rear edge are almost balanced, and another groove corresponding to the groove of the almost equal width ends here. And at least one groove at each design cycle and the corresponding groove are located in a row of a different circumferential row of a tread block element.
