PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of obtaining weld zone substantially free from defect and of interrupting inadequate operation without use of expensive automatic control element. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises two clamping means 4 and 5 which coaxially clamp two tubular thermoplastic parts 1 and 2, a manual lever 25 which moves one of clamping means 5 towards the axial direction through a driving mechanism with toggle joint 26, an infrared heating means 7 movable between end faces of the tubular parts 1 and 2 to apply contactless heating to them, a memory unit 21 which stores working and welding parameters corresponding to the size and material of the tubular parts 1 and 2, a control block 20, a data input means 22 to input size and material of the tubular parts 1 and 2 connected to the control block 20, a display means for the work data, and plural actuation control elements 18 and 19 to indicate the position of each part. |
