A pneumatic vehicle tyre has a carcase ply (4) extending from one bead to the other, and two further carcase plies (5, 6) each extending from a bead to terminate in the adjacent shoulder region of the tyre. To provide for mutual displacement of the plies, the plies (5, 6) are looped around the bead cores (9), whilst the ply (4) terminates adjacent to the bead cores (9) and is not wrapped therearound. <IMAGE> |
