PURPOSE:To enlarge the range of currents detected by a current sensor at commercial frequencies. CONSTITUTION:A current sensor for detecting current flowing through a primary coil has a specific alloy composition at least 50% of which consists of fine crystal grains; an alloy having an average grain size of not more than 1000Angstrom as measured at the maximum size of the crystal grains is used as a magnetic core and the primary and secondary coils are wound round the core. A detection circuit comprising a light-emitting diode disposed around the secondary coil is provided. |
