MANUFACTURE OF ROLLING DULL ROLL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the rolling dull roll remarkably enhancing high image clarity after coating by plating the surface of a steel plate with chromium. CONSTITUTION:In the method for working a rolling roll wherein the surface of a rolling work roll is irradiated with high density energy by scanning to form innumerable fine ruggednesses on the surface of the roll and the worked roll is dipped into chromating solution to be plated with chromium, after the softened part of the fine projecting surface layer formed by the irradiation with high density energy is removed in advance before the roll surface is plated with chromium the roll can be plated with chromium by dipping it into chromating solution.
