Posts placed alongside roads and provided with information for drivers of vehicles may often be exposed to damage which generally requires complete replacement. According to the present invention, this is avoided by using a post which consists of a lower foundation part 1 and an upper part 2 bearing the information, which parts are joined to each other by means of one or more securing members 3 in such a way that when a vehicle drives into the post, the securing member or members 3 is or are destroyed, whereupon the upper part 2 is thrown off and possibly damaged. <IMAGE> |
