<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damages due to an increase in temperature and humidity by a method wherein a cooling device is intermittently operated so as to maintain the inside of a storage chamber at a low temperature state below the specified temperature, and an automatic dryer forcibly dehumidifies the inside the storage chamber so as to restrain the humidity to the specified value or less. CONSTITUTION:A cooling device is operated at two cycles a day by a timer T, that is, it is operated for 11 hours, for example, to cool the inside of a storage chamber 1A to a low temperature, for example, to 20 deg.C or lower. At the same time, moisture contained in air that naturally stays in the storage chamber 1A is removed by desiccant to keep the inside the storage chamber 1A at a humidity of 45% or less during this operation period. In addition, a drip pan is provided with desiccant so as to further enhance the dehumidifying effect. Then, frost on an evaporator 21 is removed for an hour and the desiccant of an automatic dryer 30 is heated and regenerated during the defrosting operation, so that operation can be continued for a long time. A housing 2 of a storage 1 which is kept at a low temperature and low humidity state includes the storage chamber 1A and an absorption cooling operating chamber 1B.</p> |
