PURPOSE:To remove attached carbon components handily and accurately, by introducing air or oxygen into a reaction tube portion with the reducing tube side closed to burn and remove the carbon components attached to a chip-filled layer in the reaction tube. CONSTITUTION:A platinum boat 10 into which a coal sample is taken is placed into a flash heater section 3 from a heating section 2 and voltaile components generated by heating decomposition are introduced into a reactor 4 comprising a reaction tube filled with chips from a quartz tube. A quartz reaction tube 21 is cut in between the reactor 4 and a reducing tube 5 and connected with a connection pipeline 24 through a connection body 23. To start measurement, a cock 26 is closed and a cock 25 is opened to pass gas. A sample gas is introduced into a gas chromatography 17 through a sulfide reacting section 6 and a rinsing column 7 to determine the parcentage of organic oxygen from the concentration of CO. After end of analysis operation done fixed times, the cock 25 is closed and the cock 26 is opened to be connected to a suction port of an aspirator with a bypass tube 27. Then, air is introduced into the reaction tube 21 to burn and remove precipitated carbon in the chip-filled layer. |
