<p>PURPOSE:To stably provide a highly safe and reliable discharge lamp lighting device in which a high voltage circuit part can be miniaturized, a lighter weight and smaller size of the whole device can thus be attained, and a high voltage transformer can be free of dielectric withstand voltage failure. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 3 and a switching bridge circuit 4 are connected to an input power source 1. A driving circuit 5 for driving the switching bridge circuit 4 is connected to the control circuit 3, the primary winding 10 of a high voltage generating transformer 7 is also connected thereto, two secondary windings 11a, 11b having the degree of coupling equal to that of the primary winding 10 are formed, whereby a circuit structure as generating positive and negative high voltages is provided.</p> |
