<p>PURPOSE: To improve drag and drop operations by feeding back visual information to a user through different movement and copy modes. CONSTITUTION: For the purpose of feeding back information indicating that actual copy is performed at present to the user, a destination bin picture 50b in a text editor display window 44 is changed by a contents picture or an appearance of using. The text editor display window 44 is repeatedly generated and is displayed together with a data pane 54 indicating that contents of an object 'WSProps.txt' are copied to a text editor application at present. At the time of the end of copy, the destination bin picture 5ob is changed again to feed back information indicating that data transfer is completed. Further, the object 'WSProps.txt' is taken out from the destination bin to change the destination bin picture 50b for the purpose or indicating whether it can be moved or copied to another application or not.</p> |
