DRAWING ROLLER WITH BRAKE

PURPOSE:To provide a drawing roller equipped with brake in which required brake can be applied positively without causing 'pulsation' and the brake force can be regulated optimally according to drawing conditions such as the size or the type of cable to be drawn and the distance of drawing section. CONSTITUTION:The drawing roller comprises rollers for supporting a wire fixed to a supporting roller frame 6 and rollers 14 for applying pressing force onto a wire fixed to a press roller frame 17 wherein a pressure regulating means 21 utilizing up/down motion of the pressure roller frame due to an approaching/separating screw member 18 regulates the force of the press rollers while a resistance regulating means 15 for press contacting a shoe 24, to be operated by means of an operating knob 16, against the disc 25 of the press roller regulates the rotary resistance of the press rollers.
