DIELECTRIC RESONATOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To obtain many kinds of dielectric resonators whose characteristic is different without increasing kinds of forming metallic dies in the dielectric resonator formed by providing a resonance electrode to a dielectric body. CONSTITUTION:Internal electrodes 2a-2d are provided in a dielectric block 1 and an external electrode 3 is formed on the outer face. Lengths L1-L4 of the internal electrodes are decided in response to the resonance frequency of each resonator and the width of electrode non-forming areas S1-S4 is decided in response to the coupling quantity between resonators. As a result, since the dielectric block is standardized, lots of kinds of dielectric resonators with a different characteristic are obtained without increasing the kind of the forming die.
