PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a base material filled capillary for a capillary electrophoretic device, and to provide a device manufacturing the base material filled capillary simply. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism 7, supplying base material 8 to a capillary 10 and pressing the base material 8, is provided, and the mechanism 7 prevents the base material 8 in the capillary 10 from touching liquid directly. Since the base material 8 is supplied while being pressed without touching the liquid during the process of polymerizing the base material 8, it is possible to obtain a high performance base material filled capillary, which allows no polymerization deterioration of the base material and no occurrence of a hollow layer. It is also possible to manufacture the base material filled capillary easily, since one same device can both fill and press the base material 8. |
