PURPOSE:To obtain a picture having satisfactory display quality by fixing a spacer and fixing the thickness of a cell by arranging a three-layered structure part, which is constituted by superimposing the respective colors of R, G and B in color filters, between respective picture elements as a spacer function. CONSTITUTION:The three-layered structure part constituted by superimposing the respective colors in order of R, G and B from the position of a substrate 1 on the side of color filters 2 between the respective color filters 2, namely, at the position of a black matrix is provided between the respective color filters 2. Therefore, the spacer is existent only at the position of the black matrix part and further, the thickness of the spacer can be held constant. Thus, not only the phenomenon of loading the spacer on the picture element part does not occur but also the phenomenon of condensation does not occur and further, a means to fix the cell thickness at all times is provided. |
