JUMPER-WIRE FEED APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To feed jumper wires in large quantities without frequently replacing a jumper-wire feed member and to enhance the operating ratio of the title apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A jumper-wire feed apparatus is installed on a feed part at an automatic axial-type lead-provided electronic component insertion machine. In the feed apparatus, the feed part is provided with a jumper-wire feed unit 26 which feeds a jumper wire to a taking-out position. The feed apparatus is fixed to the feed part near the jumper-wire feed unit and to a base 1a. In addition, the feed apparatus is provided with the following: a multilink-shaped chain 51 which is provided with hollows used to receive and house the jumper wire at the inside; and a guide which guides the jumper wire up to the chain 51 fixed to the base 1a from a jumper-wire feed drum 52 installed on a floor.
