<p>PURPOSE: To automatically and completely remove foreign matters on a head in VCR and a cam coder mounting a head cleaner. CONSTITUTION: The foreign matters at the head are automatically removed by repeatedly operating the head cleaner until the foreign matters on the head is completely removed. A synchronization detecting part 20 detects a synchronizing signal in a video signal reproduced from a mechanism part 10 to be output by a DC voltage, and an envelope detection part 30 detects an envelope signal in the video signal to turn it into DC to be compared with the output of the detection part 20 by a comparing part 40. A microcomputer 60 controls the operation of the head cleaner 12 by this comparing result.</p> |
