<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reliable high-voltage transformer with good operation and small residual strain after curing insulator for use in a discharge-lamp lighting device, by uniforming the thickness of the insulator such as casting resin provided around the coil, and preventing positional shift caused by terminal bending or a rotation of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cover 15 is provided on the top and upper sides of a coil part, which includes a first coil 1 and a second coil 6. There is a space 20 between the cover 15 and the coil part, and the space 20 is almost equal to the space 21 between the coil part and a bottom face 12a of an insulating case 12. Moreover, a terminal holding part 16 for holding a wiring terminal 10 located at the coil part, a slit for spreading an insulating material 13, and a rib 23 for putting in the inside wall of an insulating case 12 are integrated with this cover 15.</p> |
