PURPOSE:To enhance the suction accuracy of the title method by a method wherein a mark serving as a feature is engraved or pasted in advance in a prescribed position at a component feed apparatus, the center of the mark is found by using a recognition camera, the distance between a component suction position and the center of the mark is found and the component suction position is found on the basis of the distance between a suction nozzle and the recognition camera. CONSTITUTION:The title method is constituted by installing a suction head 5, a component cassette 6, a suction nozzle 7 and a recognition camera 8. The following are input in advance by using an interactive display terminal: the distance between an approximate component suction position 9 at each component cassette 6 and the center of a mark; and the distance between the suction nozzles 7 and the recognition camera 8. When the component cassette 6 is replaced, the mark 10 on the component cassette 6 is recognized and processed by using the recognition camera 8, the center is found, and the component suction position can be detected automatically. Thereby, the suction accuracy of the title method can be enhanced, and an odd-shape component such as a connector, a switch or the like whose suction position is limited can be mounted. In addition, a mounting error due to the replacement of the component cassette can be absorbed. |
