INPUT IMAGE TILT CORRECTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the waving of images due to the correcting rotations and to improve the picture quality by inputting the images from a scanner input means in the linear density higher than the eve designated by an operator and then converting the input linear density into a low level designated by the operator after the correcting rotations applied for correction of the image tilts. CONSTITUTION:An image of the picture elements 304 is taken out of an image of the picture elements 303 by a means of a scanner input device which inputs the images in the high linear density. The high linear density is twice as much as the low linear density and therefore the size of a picture element of the high linear density is equal to the half size of a picture element of the low linear density. So is with the shift value of the picture element. When the tilt correcting rotation is applied to the element 304 from the element 303 a shift equivalent to a single picture element is caused like a case where the picture element 305 is shifted to the picture element 306. The shift extent is limited within the width of a single picture element in regard to the low linear density owing to the double linear density. Therefore the picture element 307 is converted into the picture element 308 when the high linear density is changed to a low level designated by an operator with the or synthesization.
