<p>PURPOSE:To provide a rubber hose having a protective pipe for car use which is capable of externally inserting a protective pipe into the outer circumference of the rubber hose, closely adhering the protective pipe to the rubber hose in a concentrical manner without using adhesives and leaving no clearance between the pipe and the rubber hose, and securely fixing the protective pipe to the specified position of the outer circumference of the rubber hose so as not to generate the dislocation during its use. CONSTITUTION:A thermo-contracting tube 5 which has the inner diameter larger than the outer diameter and is made of an elastomer is engagingly inserted into the outer circumference of a bending-formed and vulcanized or non- vulcanized rubber hose 4. After the thermo-contracting tube 5 is supported at the specified position including the bent part of the rubber hose 4, heating is executed to contract the diameter of the thermo-contracting tube 5, and the protective pipe made of an elastomer which is obtained through reduction of the diameter is closely adhered to the outer circumference of the rubber hose 4 directly, and fixed in an approximately concentrical manner with the rubber hose.</p> |
