PURPOSE:To provide oxide magnetic material suitable for a deflection yoke core which has a high saturation magnetic flux density stably and has a required saturation magnetic flux density taking a core loss into account. CONSTITUTION:The oxide magnetic material of the present invention is composed of magnesium-zinc ferrite which contains 40-50mol% of Fe2O3, 5-30mol% of ZnO, less than 10mol% (but not 0mol%) of MnO, 10-50mol% of MgO, 50-3000ppm of SiO2 and 150-6000ppm of CaO and less than 500ppm (but not 0ppm) of P added to it as additive. The composition of the magnesium-zinc ferrite belongs to a high saturation magnetic flux density composition range. If the content of P is changed, a saturation magnetic flux density and a sintered material density are changed. |
