<p>PURPOSE:To improve the noise removing effect of a filter by removing unnecessary noise components generated with the compression of an interlace image and processing the filter after separating the image signal into respective fields. CONSTITUTION:First of all, the reproduced image superimposed the noise component is divided into two fields by a field separator 81 of a filter processing part 14 and next, filters 82-1 and 82-2 execute noise removal processings to the respective fields. Finally, the images are synthesized by a field synthesizer 84 and outputted. Thus, small-amplitude and higher harmonic noise can be suppressed while holding small-amplitude texture without degrading an edge component in the image signal.</p> |
