PURPOSE: To bring a carrier and a cam into engagement with a drive gear to lock them by a simple and certain mechanism in a lock apparatus of a rotary work position of an analyser. CONSTITUTION: The cam device for a work station performs the relative rotary motion between a cam 50, a work station (e.g; liquid dispenser) and a cam follower 36. The cam follower is movable between the cam and the carrier 22 and the carrier is frictionally engaged with the cam so far as it receives no restriction by the carrier. The cam is rotated by a drive gear 68. A lock mechanism locks the carrier from unintended rotation and is constituted of the gear segment 200 on the carrier and the segment is positioned so as to be engaged with the drive gear at a part of the engagement of the gear part on the cam and the drive gear. |
