PURPOSE:To obtain a touch generator capable of extracting a performance touch parameter not being realized in a conventional system by providing an evaluation means which evaluates the performance touch parameter by counting the amount of data of a performance operating state in which a comparison result is outputted from a comparison means. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 4 extracts the performance touch parameter from data TD representing key displacement from a data converter 3 and reference value data TB set on memory 7. Furthermore, the microprocessor 4 generates musical tone control data TS based on an extracted performance touch parameter and a musical tone parameter TA from memory 5, and transfers it to a sound source device 10, and controls the sound source device 10. When the performance touch parameter is generated, the feature of touch in a performance operation can be extracted more finely than that in the conventional system, thus, it is possible to express the performance intention of a player appropriately, and to obtain a touch response effect varying in various aspects by the way of performance operation. |
