<p>PURPOSE:To simply, surely and safely carry out jamming processing by providing a simplified jamming processing mechanism in the fixing device of the clamshell-type image forming device. CONSTITUTION:A fixing drive gear 23 directly connected to a driving source is provided in a rotating part 4 of the clamshell-type image forming device 1. The fixing device 16 is loaded to a base part 2 and when it is closed, the fixing drive gear 23 and a gear 16d of a heat roll 16a are engaged and the drive is transmitted. An upper paper ejection roll 17a and a lower paper ejection roll 17b, ejecting recording paper, are provided in the fixing device 16 and the lower paper ejection roll 17b and the heat roll 16a are driven and transmitted by each other's gears. A jamming processing knob 24 is provided in the axial center of the lower paper ejection roll 17b and can be manually rotated.</p> |
