<p>PURPOSE:To provide the magneto-optical film which has high sensitivity as a magneto-optical film for a magneto-optical sensor for which a magneto-optical effect is utilized and decreases the fluctuations in the sensitivity with temp. by forming the magneto-optical film of a magnetic garnet film which has a compsn. YbxTbyBi3-x-yFe3O12, satisfies specific conditions and has a specific film thickness. CONSTITUTION:This magneto-optical film is used for the magnetic field sensor formed by utilizing the magneto-optical effect, consists of the compsn. YbxTbyBi3-x-yFe3O12 and is so formed that (x) and (y) within a range of 0.6 to 1.0 (x) satisfy the conditions expressed by equation. The thickness of the magnetic garnet film is specified to 110 to 150mum. More particularly, this kind of the magneto-optical field sensor which can measure micromagnetic fields with high accuracy even in a severe environment in the case of current value detection of distribution lines, etc., is obtd.</p> |
