<p>PURPOSE: To correct the change of the time position of a slot by comparing the overall pulse energy value of a preceding slot and that of a present slot to discriminate which is larger and indicating a slot where a pulse position encoded signal should be put. CONSTITUTION: A DSP 48 controls a clock signal which prescribes a slot position. A received pulse signal is integrated for the slot time by an integrator 44, and it is measured by an analog/digital converter 46 at the time of the end of data. This measured value is returned to the DSP 48 through a data bus 47. Next, the integrator 44 is reset in preparation for the next slot time. The DSP 48 applies various pulse recognition algorithms, noise reduction algorithms, and synchronizing algorithms to stored values to designate the slot position of the reception pulse while storing a series of measured values. Thus, a digital clock correction count to accurately match the slot center position to the reception pulse is calculated.</p> |
