Device for carrying out the work of fitting wood in joinery shops. The invention relates to a device making it possible to carry out quickly the work of finishing by fitting the wood. It is made up of a wood rasp disc (1) exhibiting, on both surfaces, and on the circumference of the rasp disc (1), multiple notches (5). These notches produce the rasp disc (1). The thickness (4) varies about the circumference of the wood rasp disc (1). Along the axis, the rasp disc (1) has an orifice (2). Around this orifice (2) there is a uniform part (3). The orifice (2) and the uniform part (3) are the two features necessary to be able to fit the wood rasp disc (1) on equipment with circular operation (rotating machinery).
