Optoelectronic head comprising an optical reception system (lens 1, mirror 2) rotationally driven about a vertical axis (B'B) so as to form on a photosensitive surface (8) a punctual image which scans said surface at X and whose mirror (2) pivots with respect to the horizontal plane so that said image scans the photosensitive surface at Y. A variable opening diaphragm (5) limits the vertical reception angle. An electronic device (14) allows to acquire extreme coordinates of the two scannings for location purposes.
