摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To surely reduce the shock to be produced by the mode change of an electromagnetic clutch at the time of acceleration, in a control device for an internal combustion engine which is provided with an electromagnetic clutch and in which the control mode of the electromagnetic clutch is changed by the releasing/treading-in condition of an accelerator pedal and the vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:The signals of an accelerator switch 23 and a vehicle-speed detecting sensor 21 are input into a clutch control unit 20 for controlling an electromagnetic clutch 15. By the combination of both the signals, the mode can be changed into the drag mode, starting mode, direct coupling mode, or the like. The ignition timing is controlled by an engine control unit 27, while, at the time of acceleration, the state of shift of clutch control modes is judged on the basis of the vehicle-speed signal and clutch signal, and torque-down control is executed with a retard amount corresponding thereto.</p>
