PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit and to reduce a cost by performing the FM modulation processing of a stereo audio signal and the separation processing to right and left audio signals by an audio signal modulating and separating circuit consisting of one IC. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal modulating and separating circuit 12 consists of one IC and performs FM modulation of first and second stereo audio signals L+R and L-R having a prescribed frequency and performs a prescribed analysis processing based on these signals to separate the stereo audio signal to a left audio signal L and a right audio signal R. Separated signals L and R are converted into a surround signal by a surround signal generating circuit 12, and the surround signal has the vocal band eliminated by a vocal cancel signal circuit 13 to generate a vocal cancel signal. Thus, a powerful surround effect is obtained. |
