<p>PURPOSE:To communicate an exact alarm without any oversight to a computer user by alarming the consumption of a battery at a display screen. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply voltage is decreased to be less than a normal value by a power consumption, a power monitoring device 5 communicates the consumption of a battery to a central processing unit 2 by setting a communication signal line 9 to be 1. The central processing unit 2 reads the value of the communication signal line 9, and when the value is 1, the central processing unit 2 repeats a display signal line 8 to be 1 and 0 in almost one second interval. As a result, a display device 3 repeats the black and white reversal of a screen while the present display is being operated. Thus, a user can exactly recognize the consumption of the battery.</p> |
