<p>PURPOSE: To prevent lock-up of a meter by looping a program in a routine, where a non-volatile memory is not referred any more, until detecting the rise of a second power after detection of disappearance of a first power. CONSTITUTION: If the first power disappears, a CPU is interrupted by PF. Then, a processor enters into a fixed routine 62 after performing an update processing 61 of important data which stops a machine process in accordance with a rule or the like. In the fixed routine 62, processing to refer to the non-volatile memory is not performed at all. If the first power disappears, the second power rises to backup the power. When this rise of the second power is detected, the processor escapes the fixed routine 62 and returns to the normal processing. If backup is not normally performed, the processor is stopped in the fixed routine 62. Thus, lock-up of the meter is prevented.</p> |
