The system consists of a sending part (Figure 1) and of a receiving part (Figure 4) equipped with a clock (38) and with a FIFO (43). For adapting throughputs, the clock is slaved to a level of filling of the FIFO. According to the invention, the sending part includes inhibition means (2 to 11, 13, 14, 17) for preventing the transmission of packets with repetitive sequences (except the first one) and the receiving part includes regeneration means (46, 48, 58, 51 to 55, 60, 64, 65) for supplying to the final service unit (44) the packets with repetitive sequences which are not transmitted.
