PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR CLEARING ANTITANK MINES TARGETTED TO PARTICULAR TANK TYPES

To make it possible to clear antitank mines targetted to particular types of tanks and whose fuze react to the ground forces generated by a specific type of tank, first the vibration pattern of the ground forces generated by the particular type of tank is recorded and evaluated by frequency analysis in order to determine at least one characteristic frequency, then a vibration having the thus determined characteristic frequencies is applied on the ground in order to clear the mines. A clearing frame (2) that carries a vibrating arrangement (5), preferably with an adjustable vibration frequency, is disclosed for carrying out this mine clearance process.
