A cable having coated thereon an electrically conductive film can be obtained by coating the outer surface of a polyvinyl chloride layer surrounding a cable with an electrically conductive powder coating material of 200 mu or less in average particle size comprising 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester powder having a reduced viscosity ( eta sp/C) of 0.3 to 0.9 dl/g and a melting point of 90 DEG to 170 DEG C and 30 to 130 parts by weight of electrically conductive carbon powder, and then melting the coating material to integrate the same. The electrically conductive film adheres well to the polyvinyl chloride layer and the cable has good oil resistance and appearance. |
