The telescopic boom has two front main tubes, which are held pivoted in the head piece via a front shaft, which is at right angles to the longitudinal boom axis. The telescopic rear tubes each carry an end section. The front shaft (2) is removably fastened on/in the head section (5). The front shaft is formed one-piece with the main tubes. It may be divided, and each shaft section is integral with the associated main tube. The two shaft sections are connected so as to be non-turnable, or relatively turnable. USE/ADVANTAGE - Quicker, easier replacement of main front tubes for telescopic boom and head piece.
